BACKSTORY February at Cork Vision Centre - presented by Arts Administration at CSN

Arts Administration at CSN will produce an exceptional exhibition of work of Art and Design from the college at Cork Vision Centre @ St. Peter's, N. Main. Street, opening Tuesday February 2nd 2010 through 24th Februday 2010.

75 pieces of work from 6 courses will grace the expanse of the mid-town venue, including public tours; weekend family programming - including workshops in art and music - with all the fun of a multi-dimensional experience.

Courses represented in the exhibition are: Art, Craft and Design; Access with Design 1 & 2; Ceramics Level 6; Textiles Level 6; Furniture Design 1 and 2; Multimedia 1 and 2 as well as installation design and implementation by students of Arts Administration.

Arts Administration students have styled the exhibit, produced the branding and Graphic Design for the posters and invites (Paul Delaney) as well as matting and framing, displaying all the work for the presentation to the public.

Liz Meaney, City Arts Officer, will open the exhibition, officially, to the Cork public, on Tuesday 2nd February. We would love to see you there - all activities and tours are FREE during the month - weekend activities are a "must" for chiuldren of all ages and their parents.
