Multimedia students get online tuition

One of the benefits of broadband Internet access is the potential to deliver media rich learning material to support tuition given in the classroom or studio.
Students on the
BTEC Higher National Diploma in Multimedia at CSN
have been reaping the benefits of this in their 3D modelling & Animation studies. Using screen recording software, teaching staff can now create video versions of lectures and tutorials normally delivered only in a classroom context.
Ceara O' Shea, a 2nd yr student tells us, "This makes learning much more effective. We can cover a new technique in a workshop context, but often a week later you are stuck trying to remember how to do it. It's great to be able to access these video tutorials, either in college or at home".
