IN THE NOW - May Exhibition

IN THE NOW, 21st Annual Exhibition of art and design by CSN students will open to the public on Thursday evening, 21st May, 7-9 PM at the college (CSN) on Tramore Road, Cork. Courses on view will be Art, Craft and Design; Textiles; Ceramics; Multimedia; Graphic Design; Furniture Design and ACCESS with Design. The exhibition will feature the best student work selected from this year's course-modules. Arts Administration students will organise the event, hang the art and design exhibitions as well as style the show, including all label copy, interpretive planning and working with Graphic Designer, Olga Tiernan, from Galway (former student of CSN).

The title was selected from over 100 possibilities to represent the csn art and design ethos, the time in our popular culture and the symbolism of bravery in the light of uncertain odds. We are living IN THE NOW.

Music at the opening will be provided by students of Music, Management and Sound at CSN.

Over 400 works will be on display to the public, from 22nd May (Friday) through Thursday 28th May, 9:30 AM - 4 PM daily. The show will be taken down, Thursday 28th May, 4 PM.
